As this year draws to a close, we are grateful to have been able to welcome visitors, share the stories of our cabooses, and make new friends.
2025 promises more adventures, more discoveries, and—who knows?—maybe even a few surprises down the line. Here’s to a year of keeping the lanterns glowing, the marker lights shining bright, and the history alive.

Renovating an old caboose is no small task, and our latest workday proved that in spades. This time, the job was to rip out all the drywall inside the old Reserve Mining Caboose (RM17). Along the way, we stumbled upon a few surprises—some more welcome than others.
